# Claude Code, Cursor and other clients

> Connect Havincy from your terminal, your editor or any MCP client.

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Claude Code">
    ```bash theme={null}
    claude mcp add --transport http havincy https://havincy.com/mcp
    ```

    Then type `/mcp` in Claude Code, select **havincy** and sign in. Generated files come back as links your agent can download into your project.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Cursor">
    Open **Cursor Settings → MCP → Add new MCP server**, or edit `~/.cursor/mcp.json`:

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "havincy": { "url": "https://havincy.com/mcp" }
      }
    }
    ```

    Cursor opens the Havincy sign-in the first time a tool is used.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Other clients (API key)">
    Clients that do not support OAuth can send an API key:

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "havincy": {
          "url": "https://havincy.com/mcp",
          "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer hv_live_..." }
        }
      }
    }
    ```
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## Test with MCP Inspector

```bash theme={null}
npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector
```

Choose **Streamable HTTP**, enter `https://havincy.com/mcp` and connect: the inspector runs the OAuth flow, then lists the tools.
